EyeBuyDirect Review: Prescription Glasses on the Cheap

After getting my first-ever eye exam, I nearly shelled out $300 for a pair of attractive eyeglasses frames. Thankfully, I decided to hold off and instead scour the Internet for an affordable (but comparable) alternative.

I came upon many suspect sites that didn’t seem legitimate enough to be handing over my money. Upon a recommendation for Zenni Optical from my boyfriend, I ended up ordering my first pair from them. They weren’t bad, but they looked cheaper and less appealing in person. I struggled to find other decent-looking eyewear from them but found most of their frames flat-out tacky.

I continued my search and found EyeBuyDirect. Overall, their selection was far better aesthetically speaking, and the site was professional and well-put together. My glasses arrived in more attractive packaging and looked just as good as in the photos.
